This is just a small part of a large series of ‘imitating’ etches.
On thick and sturdy paper I applied several layers of beeswax. In the hardened wax I cut a quick sketch and then covered the surface with oilpaint. I then removed the paint and only colour was left in the lines and all the other texture.
Dit is een klein deel van een grote serie ‘imitatie’ etsjes. Op dik en stevig papier heb ik verschillende lagen bijenwas aangebracht. In de uitgeharde was heb ik een snelle tekening gekrast en vervolgens een laag olieverf aangebracht. De verf weer verwijderd, waarbij er kleur achterbleef in de lijnen en alle andere textuur.
