thread prints

These prints with intricate textures were all made with different types of thread and ink on paper.

I never want to waste any ink and these negative prints were made from the used inking surfaces.

These are prints made from the used threads which were saturated with ink.

For all these pieces I either cut shapes from a sheet of plywood, cut up a bannister or used cut offs from a carpenter, and covered them with printing paper. I then printed them with threads.
